Text Box:     On December 8, 2006 SEIU Local 620 and the Santa Barbara County Superior Court reached a tentative agreement on a two year Memorandum of Understanding.

Below is a summary of the negotiated changes.  The membership ratified the contract on 12/18 and 12/19 and those changes will go into effect on 12/18/06.

Although equity language was a big concern for the members, this discussion will very likely resume in 2008.  This year’s tentative agreement represents one of the biggest financial victories for our Santa Barbara Court employees.

Congratulations to the bargaining team!
Mary Allen, Liana Campos, Erin Fink, Debbie Graydon,
and Nancy Young.
